Young gun @bailey_abela16 produced the first of what will no doubt be many first grade centuries on the weekend.
Opening the batting, Bailey’s efforts helped his team to a total that proved far too large for Blacktown in a commanding victory.
This is Bailey’s fourth score over 50 in just 6 1st Grade knocks.
Congrats Bailey👻

Patty off to a flyer!👻
@patt.oneill98 started his season in perfect fashion on Saturday, picking up our first 5fa.
Taking over the reigns of the captaincy this week, Patty put on a serious captains effort to restrict his opponents to just 171.
Given how close the match ended up, Patty’s work turned out to be absolutely crucial in helping 3s start with a W.
Outstanding work Patty 👻

👻 Team Of The Round - R2 👻
With everyone getting a game in this week we can proudly present our first team of the round!

Metros take home the cup 🏆👻
Our 6th Grade side have won their Grand Final over the weekend in convincing fashion, going home 6 wicket winners to cap off an incredible first season in the competition.
Fittingly skipper Luke Morrissey was out in the middle with the team’s leading runscorer for the season Karan Ruhil as they passed the total after a huge game from young gun Rehan Kumar had put them within touching distance.
Congrats to all the players involved with the squad throughout the season, and incredible effort! 👻
#feelthespirit
A huge milestone this week as @brent_jamison brought up his 200th game as a Ghost in 2nd Grade’s quarter final win.
Since joining the club at just 14, Brent has worked his way through Greenies, PGs and all the grades up to a 1st Grade cap in 2020, taking 5 catches on debut.
Absolutely fantastic to see a local junior and stalwart of the club reach such an impressive milestone, the club couldn’t be prouder of calling Brent a Ghost 👻

Congratulations to all players involved in the squad this season on a very successful campaign 👻

Incredible scenes on Saturday as @lukemeek_ took the lead at the top of the 2nd Grade wicket taking tally on his way to bundling out Manly for just 99.

Ghosts are T20 Champions 👻
Congratulations to our Women’s 1st Grade side who took out the Kingsgrove Sports T20 Cup at Drummoyne.
The ladies went 8-1 in the home and away portion of the competition, earning themselves the minor premiership.
In the semi they dismantled their opposition in a resounding 9 wicket win, with impressive performances from a number of players.
Unfortunately the second innings of the grand final was washed out after the Ghosts had posted 5/141 on the back of 50s from Sarah Coyte and Charis Pavely against their Manly-Warringah opponents.
However, as minor premiers the Ghosts were in top billing and come away as champions!
Congratulations to skipper Kelly Rowlings as well as all the players, coaches and supporters who were part of the journey to this amazing achievement. 👻

Congrats Smudge 👻

@kareem21461 took plenty of momentum into the break, scoring his first century for the Ghosts in 6th Grade’s big win.
Kareem opened the batting and occupied the crease for more than 40 overs as he helped his team put together a total that would prove to be far too much for their opposition.
